Translation, Cultural Adaptation, and Preliminary Psychometric Evaluation of the Persian Version of the Wayfinding Questionnaire in Young Adults
Abstract
Wayfinding, the ability to navigate and orient within the environment, is an essential component of spatial cognition and daily functioning. Reliable tools are needed to assess subjective navigation ability and spatial anxiety across different cultural contexts. This study aimed to translate, culturally adapt, and conduct a preliminary psychometric evaluation of the Persian version of the Wayfinding Questionnaire (PWQ).

Hi, I’m Mobina, an M.Sc. mechatronics researcher passionate about non-invasive assessment of human cognitive performance. My work sits at the intersection of computer vision, biosignal analysis, and machine learning, developing multimodal frameworks that combine vision-based pose estimation, IMU motion capture, and eye tracking for interpretable behavioral analysis. I enjoy designing algorithms and experimental systems that connect mechatronic instrumentation with real-world cognitive assessment.
